For those who don’t know, MAGMUG is a magnetic gym caddy – a portable organizer, that features a cupholder for your water bottle, side compartments for your phone and earbud case, carabiner for the keys, and an ergonomic handle.
Ability to attach to metal objects of almost any shape and size
It can attach to metal surfaces of almost any shape and size, freeing your hands and keeping your essential things away from the dirty gym floor.
So MAGMUG has magnets, thus the name, but what makes it truly different from what you’ve seen before is it’s ability to securely attach to rounded surfaces. How can it do it? Let us explain.
Simple problems first
When creating MAGMUG, we were thinking about solving simple problems first, so we added a magnet to the cupholder, but then realized that not all surfaces are the same. Some machines have square posts – flat surfaces, but some pieces of equipment are round shape.
The Hinge
After some brainstorming, we came up with “the hinge”, and placed it between MAGMUG and the magnets. As you might have guessed, it’s not your average hinge. Ours has 3 leaves. The middle one is connected to the body of MAGMUG, the other two are able to move freely and “wrap” around objects like pipes or corners of rectangular posts.
This makes MAGMUG a versatile tool and allows it to be useful in a ton of different environments. It can be used in the gym, at your desk, at the workplace, on a boat, or in thousand other places.
